Shkot Island

Shkot Island is one of the most expressive places in Vladivostok: wind, cliffs, clear water, and the feeling of being at the edge. For me, this project is a visual story of a territory — not postcard views, but the presence and rhythm of the place.

I filmed and photographed it through observation — movement, pauses, details, and sound — in order to convey what it feels like to be there, rather than simply show the location. The result is a complete visual work that can become part of the image of the region, a tourist route, or a cultural context: an image that stays in memory.
